Club Runs
Dukinfield Rides meet outside Dukinfield Town Hall. The earliest riders arrive around 8:50 for a prompt set off at 9am. Expect to get back noon to 1pm.
Hazel Grove Rides usually meet at the Car Park behind the Rising Sun pub on the A6/A523 junction. Occasionally the ride meets at Hyde Market Place when going towards Yorkshire, these are listed in the calendar below. Riders meet to set off around 9:30 – 9:45. Expect to be back around 4pm – 5pm.
Once again we have the Cycling Track in Ashton on Monday nights. The routine here is that we have the second and fourth Mondays of the month (March-Oct) – so should be easy to remember when they are!
We have now started using the Stack Team App as a means of publishing details of club rides and other events such as races, sportives, audax, gravel rides or purely social events which may be of interest to other club members. On all the rides/events please can you register you attendence on the App so we know how many riders to expect. Also please fill in your emergency contact details so that the ride leader can contact them in the event of an emergency
If you haven’t yet joined up then firstly, you just need to download the Stack Team App on your phone, search for Dukinfield CC and request to join.
If you are regularly riding we strongly recommend you join Cycling UK to benefit from their third party insurance along with many other member benefits

| 15th June 2025 | Racecourse Road, Wilmslow, SK9 5LW 9.30 am | Gravel Ride - Bob Ingham Memorial Ride - Laureens Ride A ride in memory of Bob Ingham who passed away aged 90 in October 2021, Bob joined the club in 1946 and was a great encouragement to younger riders during the 1970’s,80’s and 90’s organising club runs and tours away and introducing members to the joys of cycling and in particular off-road riding or ‘rough stuff’ as it was known before the invention of the mountain bike. Bob also loved the Cheshire lanes and this ride covers both these in abundance. Created primarily for horse riders by a lady called Laureen Roberts the route is a signposted 36 mile figure of 8 with over 10 miles of unpaved bridleway. We will be meeting just off the official route at Lindow Common car park in Wilmslow at 9.30 with a stop for snacks and drinks at the Snowdrop cafe after around 20 miles. Kamoot link | |
