Our open 50 mile time trial is the longest continuously running 50 mile time trial in the country. Past winners read like a who’s who of British time trialling greats. As ever we require help to run this ‘classic’ event so any offer of assistance would be most grateful.Please contact event secretary Steve Holt.
The inter club ‘10’ with Withington Wheelers and Stretford Wheelers will be held on the same course as our event last September based on Siddington, Lower Withington and Hulme Walfield which was featured in Cycling Weekly. It is our turn to host the event this year and so as well as riders we will require marshals and help with refreshments please. We have hired the Tameside Cycle Circuit at 159 Richmond Street, Ashton-under-Lyne, OL7 9HG for a series of seven fortnightly sessions throughout the Summer commencing on Thursday May 2nd until Thursday July 25th.
